Sin Mujeres was inspired by Las Adelitas, the women who fought alongside the men in the Mexican revolution. The image not only has the Adelita but she is carrying her child as well. The quote on the back of shirt “Sin Mujeres no hay revolucion” (without women there is no revolution) emphasis the importance of women to any revolution. Women care for, give birth to and nurture every revolutionary hero that has come to pass or will pass.
