C/S   Con Safos

C/S or Con Safos is a Chicano term used to finish a piece of art, it can be conventional art, poems or even graffiti. It has taken on several meanings and used by many types of artist., but the meaning of "with respect" still holds true.
As an artist I chose to put the symbol on my sugar skull because I see my culture being stolen by corporate companies especially Dia De Los Muertos, just for profit and because I am proud to be a Chicano Artist.
